These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sophriva website and services at sophriva.com (the "Service"), operated by Sophriva ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Sophriva is an AI-powered learning platform that provides personalized exam preparation tools, including practice questions, FRQ grading, study plans, review content, and exam strategy guides. The Service is designed for students preparing for standardized exams such as AP, IB, and A-Level.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- Accounts are for individual use only. Sharing account credentials or reselling access is prohibited and may result in account termination.
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Subscription Plans
We offer paid subscription plans (Quick Fix, Exam Ready, Score Boost) with varying features and durations. Plan details and pricing are displayed on our website at the time of purchase.
Duration
Subscription access is time-limited. Quick Fix plans expire after 14 days. Exam Ready and Score Boost plans expire on the date of the relevant exam or as specified at purchase. After expiration, your account reverts to the free tier.
Refunds
We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you are not satisfied with the Service. Refund requests made within 14 days of an exam period are handled on a case-by-case basis. To request a refund, contact support@sophriva.com.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We accept major credit cards, WeChat Pay, Alipay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Prices are displayed in USD; WeChat Pay and Alipay transactions are settled in CNY at the prevailing exchange rate.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
Our Content
All review materials, practice questions, strategy guides, and other educational content on the Service are the intellectual property of Sophriva. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell this content without our written permission.
Downloadable Materials
PDF downloads available to paid subscribers are for personal, non-commercial use only. Downloaded materials are watermarked with your account information. Sharing or redistributing downloaded materials is prohibited.
Your Content
When you submit FRQ responses or other content for grading, you retain ownership of your responses. You grant us a limited license to process your submissions through our AI grading system.
5. AI-Powered Features
Our Service uses AI to grade responses, generate study plans, and provide tutoring. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated feedback is for educational guidance and should not be considered a guarantee of exam performance. Official exam scoring is determined solely by the relevant examination authority.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share your account with others or resell access
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the Service or its content
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Interfere with the operation of the Service
- Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise security
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any exam results, scores, or academic outcomes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@sophriva.com.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
